This Suhr Modern Plus 2018 — also searched as Suhr Modern Plus Desert Gradient, Suhr Modern HSH, or Suhr Custom Modern electric guitar — is a premium USA-made instrument combining modern playability, versatile electronics, and striking figured-wood aesthetics.

The guitar features a two-piece basswood body with a 3/16” curly maple top, finished in Suhr’s dramatic Desert Gradient over a black body. Its sculpted arm, hand, and tummy contours provide excellent comfort for both seated and standing playing.

The satin-finished maple neck has Suhr’s comfortable Modern Elliptical .800–.850 profile, paired with a pau ferro fingerboard, 10”–14” compound radius, and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets. This combination offers smooth bends, low-action playability, and excellent fret durability.

The versatile HSH pickup configuration consists of a Suhr SSV neck humbucker, ML Standard middle single-coil, and SSH Plus bridge humbucker. A push-push control splits both humbuckers, providing a wide selection of powerful humbucker tones and clearer single-coil-style sounds.

Hardware includes a Gotoh 510 two-post tremolo with steel block and solid saddles, Suhr locking tuners, and a Tusq nut. This Suhr Modern Plus is in very good condition, showing only light signs of careful use.
