Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this 2020 OM-42 delivers a rich, balanced voice with deep, controlled bass, articulate mids, and shimmering trebles. The OM body paired with the long 25.4” scale length offers outstanding note separation, dynamic responsiveness, and versatility, making it ideal for fingerstyle, flatpicking, recording, and singer-songwriter performance.

As part of Martin’s Reimagined Standard Series, the OM-42 features forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, a Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, and luxurious appointments including abalone top purfling, an abalone rosette, Style 45 snowflake fingerboard inlays, and gold open-gear tuners.

This Martin OM-42 (2020) is in great condition, showing only light signs of use. The guitar has a noticeable cigarette smell from previous ownership, but it remains structurally sound and plays beautifully.
