C.F. Martin & Co. OM-42 (2007) – Premium Rosewood Orchestra Model – Good Condition

This Martin OM-42 2007 — also searched as OM42 2007, Martin Orchestra Model 42, or Martin OM-42 acoustic — is one of Martin’s finest Orchestra Models, combining exceptional craftsmanship, premium tonewoods, and elegant Style 42 appointments.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OM-42 delivers a rich, balanced voice with outstanding clarity, shimmering trebles, warm mids, and deep, controlled bass. Its 25.4” long scale provides excellent projection, sustain, and dynamic range, making it equally at home for fingerstyle, flatpicking, and light-to-medium strumming.

Beautiful Style 42 details include abalone pearl top trim and rosette, snowflake fingerboard inlays, ebony fingerboard and bridge, gold open-gear butterbean tuners, and a gloss nitrocellulose finish. The result is an instrument that is as visually stunning as it is musically inspiring.

This Martin OM-42 (2007) is in good condition, showing just a little signs of use consistent with its age while remaining structurally sound and an excellent player. The original Martin hardshell case is included, although one case latch is missing.
