This Martin OM-28 Reimagined from 2017 — also searched as Martin OM28, Martin OM 28, used Martin OM-28, second-hand Martin OM28, or Martin rosewood Orchestra Model — combines the long-scale response of Martin’s OM design with the updated specifications introduced for the Reimagined Standard Series.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OM-28 delivers a rich, balanced and articulate voice with strong note separation, clear trebles, warm mids and a controlled but full bass response. The 25.4” / 645 mm scale length gives the guitar excellent projection and definition, making it particularly well suited to fingerstyle, flatpicking, recording and more detailed acoustic playing.

The Reimagined specification includes scalloped X-bracing, a Modified Low Oval neck, 1 3/4” / 44.5 mm nut width, ebony fingerboard and bridge, nickel open-gear tuners, and a gloss finish with aging toner on the top.

This example is fitted with an L.R. Baggs Anthem SL, combining an undersaddle pickup with an internal microphone for a natural amplified sound suitable for stage and studio use.

The guitar is currently set up with light gauge strings (.012–.054). The neck is straight, and the current action measures approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret. Remaining saddle height is approximately 2.0 mm on the bass side and 1.8 mm on the treble side.

This 2017 Martin OM-28 is in good condition. There are some small dents and scratches from normal use, and the binding has been repaired. Importantly, there are no cracks.
