This Martin HD-25 1998 — also searched as HD25, Martin HD 25, or Martin 25 Series dreadnought — is a less common rosewood dreadnought offering classic Martin tone with a slightly different aesthetic from the Style 28 models.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this 1998 Martin HD-25 delivers deep bass, clear mids, and bright, articulate highs. The dreadnought body provides strong projection and excellent headroom, making it well suited for strumming and flatpicking.

The scalloped X-bracing gives the guitar a more open and responsive character, with added warmth and resonance compared to non-scalloped models.

This Martin HD-25 (1998) is in very good condition, showing only light cosmetic signs of normal use. No structural problems. Plays well and sounds open and balanced.
