Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid genuine mahogany back and sides, this 2016 DC-18E delivers a clear, punchy voice with strong midrange, tight bass, and crisp trebles. The cutaway dreadnought body provides excellent projection while allowing effortless access to the upper frets, making it equally suited for stage performance, recording, and everyday playing.  

Introduced in 2016 as part of Martin’s Standard Series, the DC-18E features forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, a Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, and the highly regarded Fishman Aura VT Enhance pickup system, delivering a remarkably natural amplified acoustic sound.
