This Martin D-41 Standard 2021 — also searched as Martin D41, Martin D 41, used Martin D-41, second-hand Martin D41, or Martin Style 41 dreadnought — combines premium tonewoods and elegant pearl appointments with the powerful voice of Martin’s legendary dreadnought design.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-41 produces a rich and powerful sound with deep bass, complex overtones, clear trebles and excellent projection. It offers the full-bodied rosewood character associated with Martin’s high-end dreadnoughts while maintaining excellent balance and definition across the strings.

The 2021 D-41 features forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, allowing the top to respond freely and giving the guitar excellent volume, sustain and dynamic range. It responds beautifully to a light touch while providing plenty of headroom for powerful strumming and flatpicking.

Premium Style 41 appointments make the D-41 instantly recognizable. The guitar features abalone pearl top inlay and rosette, hexagon fingerboard inlays, antique white binding, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and gold open-gear tuning machines. These elegant details give the D-41 much of the visual presence of Martin’s flagship instruments while retaining its own distinctive identity.

The Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, combined with a 1 3/4” (44.5 mm) nut width, provides comfortable modern playability for both chord work and more intricate playing.
