This Martin D-28 Standard from 2023 — also searched as Martin D28, Martin D 28, used Martin D-28, second-hand Martin D28, or Martin rosewood dreadnought — is a modern version of one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever made.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this D-28 delivers the classic Martin dreadnought voice with deep bass, rich overtones, clear trebles and strong projection. This particular guitar has a great sound, with a powerful and balanced response that works equally well for strumming, flatpicking, recording and singer-songwriter playing.

The modern D-28 features forward-shifted 5/16” non-scalloped X-bracing, giving the guitar a strong, focused response while allowing the top to resonate freely. The Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper and 1 3/4” (44.5 mm) nut width provide comfortable modern playability.

Traditional Style 28 appointments include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, antique white binding, faux tortoise pickguard, open-gear tuners and understated classic Martin styling.
