This Martin D-28 (2013) is a superb example of one of the world’s most iconic acoustic guitars. Also searched as Martin D28 2013, Martin D-28 Standard, or Martin D28 Rosewood, this pre-Reimagined model delivers the legendary Martin dreadnought tone with exceptional projection, clarity, and balance.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-28 produces a powerful, piano-like bass, rich overtones, and crisp, articulate trebles. Its non-scalloped 5/16” X-bracing gives it a focused, punchy voice that many players appreciate for bluegrass, flatpicking, and singer-songwriter styles.

This guitar is in very good condition , and has been professionally fitted with an LR Baggs Lyric internal microphone system, one of the most natural-sounding amplification systems available. Unlike traditional undersaddle pickups, the Lyric captures the guitar’s true acoustic character using LR Baggs’ TRU•MIC technology, making it an excellent choice for both live performance and recording.

The comfortable Low Profile mahogany neck, 25.4” scale length, 1 11/16” (42.9 mm) bone nut, ebony fingerboard, and ebony bridge provide the familiar feel that has made the pre-2017 D-28 a favorite among professional musicians for decades.
