This Martin D-28 Satin Ambertone (2024), also known as d28, d-28, or d 28, brings a fresh look and feel to Martin’s legendary dreadnought design. With its satin-finished amberburst top and smooth playability, it delivers the same iconic D-28 tone with a modern aesthetic twist.
The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, producing deep, resonant bass, rich mids, and sparkling highs. Its forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing provides excellent resonance and dynamic response, making it ideal for both strumming and fingerpicking.
The Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper ensures comfortable fretting across the board, while the satin finish offers a more organic, fast-playing feel compared to traditional gloss models.
This 2024 example is in like new condition and includes its original Martin hardshell case.
