C.F. Martin & Co. D-28 Standard Reimagined (2019) – Rosewood Dreadnought – Very Good Condition

This Martin D-28 2019 — also searched as D28 2019, Martin D 28, Martin D-28 Reimagined, used Martin D-28, or second-hand Martin D28 — is a modern version of Martin’s legendary rosewood dreadnought, combining classic D-28 tone with the updated specifications of the Reimagined Standard Series.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this 2019 D-28 delivers the powerful, balanced sound that has made the model an acoustic guitar icon. Expect deep and controlled bass, rich overtones, strong mids, clear trebles and excellent projection.

As part of Martin’s Reimagined Standard Series, this model features forward-shifted 5/16” non-scalloped X-bracing, bringing the X-brace closer to the soundhole for increased top response while retaining the focused and powerful character traditionally associated with the D-28.

The updated Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper and 1 3/4” (44.5 mm) nut width provide a comfortable modern playing feel. Vintage-inspired appointments include open-gear tuners, antique white binding, faux tortoise pickguard, aging toner, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge.

This Martin D-28 (2019) is in very good condition, showing only normal signs of careful use. There are some small dents, which are cosmetic and do not affect the guitar’s structure, tone or playability.

Includes the original Martin hardshell case.
