Martin D-28 (2001) – Classic Dreadnought Tone

This Martin D-28 2001, also searched as Martin d28, d-28, and D 28, is a classic Standard Series dreadnought that delivers the iconic Martin sound heard on countless recordings. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this D-28 offers deep piano-like bass, clear mids, and strong projection.

This 2001 Martin D 28 features non-scalloped X-bracing, giving it a focused, controlled low end and excellent note separation—ideal for strumming, flatpicking, and ensemble playing. The neck has the traditional Martin feel with a 1 11/16” nut width, making it comfortable for long playing sessions.

Condition is good overall, some small dents which is purely cosmetic and common on guitars of this age. There are no cracks, no structural issues, and the guitar is stable and plays very well. The tone is open and mature, with that unmistakable older Martin character.

The guitar has been set up with Martin string gauge 12, with very low action of 1.8-2.3mm, its very comfortable to play without any buzzing 

Comes with its original Martin hardshell case.
