This Martin D-18V 2000 — also searched as D18V, Martin D 18 Vintage Series, or pre-war style D-18V — is a sought-after mahogany dreadnought from Martin’s Vintage Series, inspired by classic pre-war designs.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid genuine mahogany back and sides, this 2000 Martin D-18V delivers a strong fundamental tone with dry, punchy mids, tight bass, and excellent projection. The forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing enhances responsiveness and dynamic range, making it ideal for flatpicking, bluegrass, and traditional acoustic styles.

The guitar features the distinctive Modified V neck profile, offering a vintage feel and comfortable grip for many players. A Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay adds a premium vintage-style detail typical of the Vintage Series models.
