Built with a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid genuine mahogany back and sides, the D-18GE delivers exceptional clarity, projection and dynamic range. The Adirondack top provides excellent headroom and a strong, immediate response, while the mahogany body gives the guitar the dry, woody and focused character associated with vintage Style 18 Martins.

The model features forward-shifted scalloped Golden Era X-bracing, helping create a powerful, open voice with strong bass, punchy mids and clear trebles. It responds beautifully to a light touch while also handling aggressive flatpicking and strumming with ease.

Vintage-inspired specifications include a Modified V neck, 1 3/4” (44.5 mm) nut width, ebony fingerboard and bridge, long through bone saddle, open-gear tuners and traditional Style 18 appointments.
