Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the D-18 delivers the dry, woody and articulate tone that has made the model a favorite for generations. Expect strong fundamental notes, punchy mids, clear trebles and a controlled bass response with excellent projection.

As a 2004 pre-Reimagined D-18, it retains the traditional specifications of the period, including non-scalloped X-bracing, a Low Profile neck, and a 1 11/16” (42.9 mm) nut width. This gives the guitar a focused, direct response and the familiar playing feel associated with D-18s from this era.

The understated Style 18 appointments include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, simple dot inlays, black binding and traditional Martin styling.
