Introduced in 1996, it is a tribute to the pre-war Martin that Eric Clapton played during his legendary MTV Unplugged performance. This 2025 Martin 00028EC in the striking 1935 Sunburst finish delivers the classic look and sound that made the model a modern icon.

The 000-28EC has a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides. Scalloped X-bracing gives a lively, responsive top with impressive volume and sustain for a 000-size guitar. The tone is rich and balanced, with full bass, warm, complex mids and clear, shimmering trebles, plus excellent note separation.

The comfortable 000 body makes the Martin 000 28EC perfect for fingerstyle, blues, folk and singer-songwriter playing, while it still has the power for confident strumming. Its detailed, balanced voice records beautifully and sits naturally with vocals.
