This Martin 000-28 Standard 2023 — also searched as Martin 00028, Martin 000 28, used Martin 000-28, second-hand Martin 000-28, or Martin rosewood auditorium guitar — is a beautifully balanced short-scale acoustic with the rich, complex tone of East Indian rosewood and the comfortable feel of Martin’s 000 body.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the 000-28 delivers a warm, articulate voice with deep but controlled bass, rich overtones, clear trebles and excellent note separation.

The 24.9” short scale gives the guitar a comfortable playing feel with slightly lower string tension than a long-scale OM or dreadnought, making it especially well suited to fingerstyle, blues, singer-songwriter playing and light strumming.

As a modern Standard Series model, it features scalloped X-bracing, a Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, and a comfortable 1 3/4” (44.5 mm) nut width. The ebony fingerboard and bridge, herringbone trim and traditional Style 28 appointments complete the classic Martin look.

This 2023 Martin 000-28 is in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of careful use. It has been very well maintained and is ready to play.
