This Martin 000-28 Standard 2018 — also searched as 00028 2018, Martin 000 28 Reimagined, or Martin 000-28 acoustic-electric — is a beautifully balanced auditorium guitar that combines the legendary Martin rosewood tone with the enhanced playability of the Reimagined Standard Series.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this 2018 000-28 delivers a warm, articulate voice with rich overtones, focused bass, and sparkling trebles. The comfortable 24.9” short scale and 000 body make it ideal for fingerstyle, light strumming, recording, and singer-songwriter performance.

As part of Martin’s Reimagined Standard Series, it features forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, a Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge, providing outstanding responsiveness, sustain, and effortless playability.

The guitar has been professionally fitted with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system, combining an undersaddle pickup with an internal microphone to deliver one of the most natural amplified acoustic tones available, making it equally at home on stage and in the studio.

This Martin 000-28 (2018) is in very good condition. The only notable cosmetic issue is a 1 cm lacquer crack on the top that has been professionally repaired. The repair is stable, affects only the finish, and has no impact on the guitar’s structural integrity, tone, or playability.
