The Martin 000-18 is one of the most versatile guitars Martin has ever made, and this 2019 example delivers the classic sound that has made the model a favourite for decades. The Martin 00018 sits perfectly between the intimacy of a small-body guitar and the power of a dreadnought.

This 000-18 Standard is built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. Scalloped X-bracing gives a lively, responsive top with plenty of volume and sustain. The tone is warm, dry and focused, with a strong midrange, clear trebles and well-defined bass. Every note comes through with excellent clarity and balance.

The comfortable 000 body makes the Martin 000 18 a favourite among fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters and recording artists. It handles delicate fingerpicking and medium strumming equally well. Its balanced, articulate voice records beautifully and sits naturally alongside vocals in a mix, making it ideal for folk, blues, Americana and acoustic pop.

The 24.9" short scale, 1 3/4" nut width and modified low oval neck with high-performance taper give a relaxed, comfortable playing feel.
