Produced only in 1998 in a limited run of just 164 instruments worldwide, the 00-21GE was created as a faithful recreation of Martin’s pre-war 12-fret Style 21 guitars. This example is No. 60 of 164, making it a highly desirable instrument for both collectors and discerning players. 

Built with a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the 00-21GE delivers a remarkably rich and balanced voice with exceptional responsiveness, deep bass for its size, warm mids, and sparkling trebles. The 12-fret 00 body places the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout, producing greater resonance, sustain, and tonal complexity than a comparable 14-fret design. 

Premium Golden Era specifications include Adirondack scalloped 1/4” bracing, a Modified V mahogany neck, 1 7/8” (47.6 mm) bone nut, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Brazilian rosewood headplate, slotted headstock, Waverly open-gear tuners, and a long through saddle, faithfully recreating the feel and sound of Martin’s legendary pre-war instruments.
