ESP Maverick SE Glitter Storm Blue – 27-Fret Superstrat – Mint Condition

This ESP Maverick SE in Glitter Storm Blue is a modern interpretation of one of ESP’s most distinctive designs, combining the compact Maverick body shape with a 27-fret neck, Floyd Rose tremolo and versatile Seymour Duncan pickups.

The Maverick design originally appeared in the late 1980s and became known for its compact body, distinctive waist and fast playing feel. The updated SE version brings the concept into a more modern specification with a 648 mm / 25.5” scale, stainless-steel frets and a highly playable bolt-on neck construction.

The body is made from Black Cherry, paired with a rigid 3-piece hard maple neck and a selected ebony fingerboard, giving the guitar excellent attack, clarity and stability.

A major feature is the 27-fret layout, allowing access to notes beyond the standard 24-fret range. The guitar uses extra-jumbo stainless-steel frets, providing a smooth playing feel, excellent durability and effortless bending.

The pickup configuration consists of a Seymour Duncan SCR-1n Cool Rails in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan TB-14 Custom 5 humbucker in the bridge. This combination covers everything from clear, articulate clean tones to powerful rock and high-gain sounds. The master tone control also includes a push/pull coil-split function, adding further tonal flexibility.

A Floyd Rose Original tremolo provides excellent tuning stability for expressive vibrato and more aggressive tremolo use, while Gotoh locking tuners complete the high-end hardware specification.

This example is in mint condition, exceptionally well preserved and showing virtually no signs of use.
