This Martin HD-28V 2000 (HD28V / HD 28V) is part of Martin’s celebrated Vintage Series, offering the tone and feel of pre-war dreadnoughts with the reliability of modern craftsmanship. Built with top-tier tonewoods and forward-shifted scalloped bracing, this guitar produces the deep, resonant bass and shimmering highs that define the HD-28V sound.
The solid Sitka spruce top is paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering powerful projection and warmth. The forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing allows the top to resonate more freely, giving the guitar its signature open and vintage voice. The modified V-shaped mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and long saddle bone bridge further enhance tone and playability.
This 2000 model remains in very good condition, with minor signs of age but no structural issues or cracks. The action is comfortable, and the guitar plays beautifully across the neck. Includes the original Martin hardshell case.
