Martin D-41 (2001) – Sitka Spruce & East Indian Rosewood Dreadnought
This Martin D-41 (2001), also known as the D41 or D 41, is a fine example of Martin’s high-end dreadnought craftsmanship, offering both visual elegance and rich, powerful tone. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, it produces deep, resonant bass, articulate mids, and sparkling trebles — the hallmark of a classic Martin sound.
The scalloped X-bracing enhances projection and responsiveness, while the select hardwood neck with an ebony fingerboard ensures smooth playability and comfort. Ornate appointments include abalone top trim, hexagon abalone inlays, and white binding, giving this D-41 its signature luxurious appearance.
This 2001 model is in very good condition, with some weather checking on the top that adds vintage character. There are no cracks or repairs, and the guitar remains structurally solid with excellent tone and playability. Comes with its original Martin hardshell case.
