This Martin D-35 2015 50th Anniversary model celebrates five decades of one of Martin’s most iconic dreadnoughts. The D35, also known as D 35 or D-35, is famous for its rich low end, open mids, and smooth, piano-like sustain, and this anniversary edition stays true to that legacy.
Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and three-piece East Indian rosewood back with rosewood sides, this Martin D-35 delivers a warm, powerful voice that excels at strumming, flatpicking, and vocal accompaniment. The lighter ¼” non-scalloped X-bracing contributes to the D-35’s signature openness and resonance compared to a standard D-28.
This 2015 Martin D35 50th Anniversary is in excellent condition, with no cracks or structural issues. It has been well cared for and plays comfortably with clean action and strong projection. A great example for players looking for a mature, balanced dreadnought with classic Martin character.
