This Martin D-28 (2011) — also searched as D28, D 28, and D-28 — is a traditional pre-Reimagined dreadnought known for its powerful low end, clear mids, and strong projection. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this Martin D28 delivers the iconic tone heard on countless recordings.
This 2011 Martin D-28 features non-scalloped X-bracing, giving it a tight, focused response and excellent note separation, especially for strumming and ensemble playing. The neck has Martin’s traditional feel with a comfortable profile and classic playability.
Condition is very good overall. There is a small dent on the back of the neck in the lacquer only, which does not affect playability or structural integrity. The rest of the guitar is clean, solid, and well-maintained with no cracks or repairs.
Includes the original Martin hardshell case.
