This Martin D-28 2011, also listed as d28, d-28, and d 28, delivers the iconic dreadnought power, balance, and clarity that has defined the D-28 for generations. Built before the Reimagined changes, this model features the classic straight (non-scalloped) X-bracing for strong fundamentals, clear note separation, and excellent projection—ideal for both flatpicking and rhythm work.
Constructed with a Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, the guitar offers deep low-end response, articulate mids, and sparkling highs. The Modified Low Oval neck with 1 11/16” nut width provides a comfortable, traditional Martin feel.
This 2011 example is in very good condition, plays great, and comes complete with its original hardcase and Martin certificate.
