This Martin 000-28 from 2016 is a pre-Reimagined Series model, built before Martin’s 2018 redesign. Often searched as 00028, 000 28, or 000-28, this version is favored for its more traditional neck shape, narrower nut, and vintage-style response.

The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, producing deep bass, warm mids, and clear, ringing trebles. Unlike the Re-Imagined models, this pre-2018 000-28 uses standard scalloped X-bracing that is NOT forward-shifted, giving it a tighter, more focused tone with excellent note separation.

This 2016 000-28 is in very good condition with some small cosmetic dents, but no cracks or structural issues. It plays cleanly with low action and delivers the balanced, refined voice that made the 000-28 a studio and fingerstyle favorite.
