Martin 00-18 Standard Reimagined (Pre-owned) 2020

C.F. Martin & Co. 00-18 Standard (2020) – Sitka Spruce & Mahogany – Very Good Condition

This Martin 00-18 Standard from 2020 — also searched as Martin 0018, Martin 00 18, Martin 00-18, used Martin 00-18, or second-hand Martin mahogany acoustic — is a beautifully balanced small-body acoustic guitar, combining traditional Style 18 construction with modern playability and the warm, articulate tone for which Martin is renowned.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid genuine mahogany back and sides, the 00-18 delivers a clear, woody and responsive voice with warm mids, crisp trebles and a focused bass response. Its compact body provides excellent note separation and sensitivity, making it particularly well suited to fingerstyle, blues, folk, light strumming and recording.

The 24.9" short scale provides comfortable string tension and an easy playing feel, while the Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper and 1 3/4" (44.5 mm) nut width offer excellent comfort for both fingerstyle and chord playing.

The guitar features scalloped X-bracing, giving the top an open, responsive character with impressive projection for its smaller body size. Traditional Style 18 appointments include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, tortoise-pattern binding and pickguard, Old Style 18 fingerboard inlays and a classic gloss finish.

This 2020 Martin 00-18 is in very good condition, showing light signs of normal use. It is an excellent choice for players looking for a comfortable, expressive small-body Martin with the distinctive warmth and clarity of spruce and mahogany.
